Pub of the Year 2014: the Wilkes Head, Eastergate
Apr 5, 2014
14:30 – 16:00
The Wilkes Head, Eastergate, has won the Branch Pub of the Year award for the third year running. Congratulations — again! — to Trevor, Sonia, and the staff.
The LocAle-accredited, two-bar Wilkes Head sells Adnams Bitter as its regular beer, with up to three guests. Food is available in a separate dining area, and there’s a large beer garden.
The award presentation will be at 2:30pm on Saturday, April 5. All are welcome!
Stagecoach bus route 66 stops at the end of Church Road (get off near the petrol station/Elmtree Stores) or it’s about a 20 minute walk from Barnham station: turn left out of the station, then turn left into Church Road.
