This year is our 21st Beerex, with a greatly increased cider and perry order (4 ciders, 3 perries). There won’t be any live music on the Saturday this year, meaning the stage will be available as a seating area.

The 20th Sussex Beer and Cider Festival will be held at the Hove Centre (or Hove Town Hall in the old money) from March 11–13. Well over 220 beers available, plus a large selection of ciders, perries, country wines and bottled beers from both Britain and abroad.

The Maypole in Yapton is holding a beer festival over the Easter weekend; 20 beers from the North, plus a hog roast on the Sunday (followed by the music quiz at 7pm)

Edit: the festival was previously listed as running until April 13; it finishes on April 12.

The Stag’s Head in Westbourne is having a beer festival over the Easter weekend, starting at about 2 on Good Friday and going through until at least the Sunday evening (and possibly into the Monday if there’s any left!)

There’s a hog roast on Friday evening, and about 15 beers should be on sale — plus hopefully a few ciders, too…

The Four Chesnuts in Chichester is having a beer festival from Feb 27 to Mar 1 with 16 real ales (should be available from Friday lunchtime) in the skittle alley. There’ll be live music both evenings, and they’ll have the rugby on the telly in the bar.

The 19th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival, organised by the Sussex branches of CAMRA, will be held at the Hove Centre, Hove on March 12–14.

As sales of real ale continue to increase, there will be nearly 230 traditional beers on sale to cope with the expected big demand. A record 4,000 people attended last year’s festival, and we’re planning for a similar figure next year.

Ciders, perries and country wines will also be available, as will British and foreign bottled beers. Hot and cold food will be available at all times, and there will be live entertainment on Saturday night only.
